Brooklyn Pinball is the result of the hard work and passion of Al the “Pinaholic”, Ed Cramer, and their incredible support network.
Al and Ed have been a lifelong pinball enthusiasts. In the winter of 2006 Al began buying pinball machines. He now boasts a collection of over 100 games. Around the same time, Ed bought his first machine, Revenge from Mars. The rest is history.
Once it became apparent that their collections were becoming a serious endeavor, they and their friends joined forces to grow their operation to what is now the largest pinball operator in NYC with the dream of bringing working pinball back to the masses. Today, Brooklyn Pinball machines can be found in locations all over Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Westchester.
Al the “Pinaholic”
Al was born and raised in New York City’s Upper East Side. Whether is was the Fireball at his neighborhood pizza shop or Dimension in his college suite at Albany State, pinball has always been his favorite. After a few years so struggling to find places to play pinball in a city that once boasted over 10,000 machines, Al started collecting pinball machines for himself.
Ed Cramer is another NYC pinball legend from Brooklyn. His incredible attention to detail makes him one of the best in the business when it comes to pinball repair and maintenance.
Kevin McHugh is the owner of classicpinball.com. He is one of the biggest pinball distributors on the east coast. He supplies Brooklyn Pinball with most of its games. Kevin also assists with pinball maintenance and helps Al warehouse some of his machines.
Doug Huse is the founder of letsplaypinball.com. He began his pinball career working for Pinball Resource under Steve Young’s direction for 6 years. He has since started his own company performing high-end pinball restoration and building custom pinball cabinets. Doug is also an incredible pinball technician and helps Brooklyn Pinball with repairs, maintenance, and restoration.
